The East Coast Economic Region (ECER) is an economic development region on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, covering the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang, as well as the Mersing district in northeast Johor. The master planner for ECER is the Malaysian oil and gas company, Petronas. ECER has appointed FBG Builder as the main contractor for the following projects:
Pos Aviation Sdn. Bhd. (PASB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pos Malaysia Berhad, is a world-class aviation ground services provider offering ground handling, inflight catering, and aircraft maintenance and engineering services to inbound and outbound international commercial airlines in Malaysia.
PASB has appointed FBG Builder as the main contractor for the renovation and refurbishment of the tenancy area at KLIA Cargo Terminal 1. The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of building structures, new construction and upgrading works for the existing cargo building, and all mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.
FBG Builder was appointed as the design and build contractor for the Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) project. The operator of Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2), Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), has awarded and extended the Operation and Maintenance contract for the Visual Docking Guidance System to FBG Builder for a fixed contract period.
The scope of work includes the supply of operators and technicians for the maintenance of 78 VDGS units.
Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fuelling System Sdn Bhd (KAFS) is the concessionaire responsible for operating and maintaining the aircraft fuelling system at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2). KAFS manages and maintains the KLIA2 fuel hydrant pipeline, which spans approximately 12km and carries Jet A-1 fuel for aircraft refuelling.
KAFS has awarded the contract for the replacement of the existing fuel hydrant pipeline to FBG Builder. The scope of work includes the replacement and repair of approximately 500 metres of pipeline.
The airport is operated by Malaysia Airports (MAHB) Sepang Sdn Bhd, and FBG Builder was appointed as the main contractor for the construction and completion of apron line marking, access road connection, and associated works at KLIA Air Cargo Terminal 1 (KACT 1).
The new depot on the AMG line extension at Kg. Kuala Sungai Baru is located south of the line (approximately CH 16900 to CH 17300), near Putra Heights Station. The project was awarded to FBG Builder and consists of an elevated slab with buildings both above and below slab level.
The depot area spans approximately 15 hectares, with 11.5 hectares featuring slab construction. The project includes facility works for the depot, including a TPSS located at the depot boundary, with a total built-up area of 96,000 square metres.
The Electrified Double Tracking Project consists of multiple phases. The completed phases include Rawang-Ipoh, the Sentul-Port Klang extension to Batu Caves, Ipoh-Padang Besar, and Seremban-Gemas.
FBG Builder has completed the phase between Seremban (KM461.23) and Gemas (KM564.00). This project includes civil and structural works such as site clearance, demolition and relocation works, utility relocation, earthworks, soil improvement, drainage, bridge, and structural works.
Gleneagles Ampang Hospital is a private hospital located on Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. The current facility is a 330-bed hospital with a separate medical consulting suite building and various sub-specialities for inpatient and outpatient services.
FBG Builder was appointed as the design and build contractor for the 10-storey medical block (Phase 1A) and basement car park (Phase 1), including common infrastructure. The project scope included a four-storey common basement car park with a gross floor area of approximately 50,300 square metres and a 10-storey medical suite wing with a total built-up area of 27,839.61 square metres. The new wing will provide outpatient services, selected diagnostic and treatment facilities, as well as 100 inpatient beds.
The Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) is located within the Air Support Zone. The entire terminal, including the parking apron, was designed and built by FBG Builder.
The terminal was constructed in line with the low-cost carrier business model, featuring limited terminal amenities. Spanning 35,290 square metres, the LCCT comprised a single-storey building for departures and arrivals and was designed to accommodate 10 million passengers per year.
The proposed design, construction, completion, equipping, commissioning, and maintenance of Tampin Hospital in Negeri Sembilan were planned to accommodate a 108-bed facility.
The project included outpatient and inpatient facilities, diagnostic and treatment facilities, medical and non-medical support facilities, training and educational facilities, administration offices, and staff accommodation. The site covered approximately 49.65 hectares, with a total built-up area of 200,948 square metres.
The LRT Kelana Jaya Line is a fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, forming part of the Greater KL/Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The stations feature various architectural designs.

The Integrated Shrimp Aquaculture Park (iSHARP) was developed by Blue Archipelago Bhd and is located in Setiu, Terengganu. This fully integrated 1,000-hectare aquaculture-industrial park features a seawater intake system to support 676 grow-out ponds, a processing plant, a feed mill, a hatchery, and other support facilities.
FBG Builder's scope of work included the construction of ponds and supply canals, a seawater distribution control structure, drainage and water system infrastructure, as well as a pump station and pipework.
Skypark Hangar is a comprehensive and integrated hangar complex with a business support centre. It is situated on a 30-acre site in Seksyen U3, Shah Alam, with access from Jalan Monfort, Shah Alam.
The entire development, consisting of five hangars, was awarded to FBG Builder under a design and build contract. The project included maintenance and parking hangars with an approximate built-up area of 13,320 square metres.
